Holiday Lights

The Lights Before Christmas in Layton

When: November 25-December 31

Where: Layton Commons Park

What: Layton City Light Tour is open daily from November 25 through December 31, from dusk to 11:00 pm. The Lights at Layton City’s Commons Park have been a favorite of young and old alike for many, many years. We have added improvements this year including more sidewalks and decorations down Wasatch Drive. There is so much more to see. Please come for a visit, drive-thru the lights, or better yet, take a walk through them with the family. There is something for everyone. You can even win a candy cane if you can find the hidden elf.

Kaysville Lights on Main 2019

When: December 2, 2019 at 5:00 pm

Where: Kaysville Main Street

What: For many years Kaysville City has welcomed the public to join us as we turned on the lights to welcome in the holiday season. Main Street lights and the Star on the Mountain will be lit on December 2, however, due to the construction of City Hall, the Light the City Event will be postponed until 2020.

Enchanted 3D Holiday Light Show

When: Nightly from December 9- 21, 2019

Where: Where: Station Park

What: Station Park is debuting Utah’s first-ever 3D Enchanted Holiday Light Show on Monday, Dec. 9 at 6:00 PM —a holiday event unlike any Utah has witnessed. The show will continue every night through Saturday, Dec. 21 at the quarter and three-quarters of each hour with a Holiday Fountain Show at the top and half of each hour. The visual experience will feature projection mapping technology— using a projector and sound to display 3D holiday shapes and interactive lights presentations on the surface above Sephora at Station Park. It’s a production the community needs to see to believe. Surrounding communities and families are welcome to attend, free of charge.

Paws and Claus

When: December 2nd, 9th, and 16th from 4:00-8:00 pm

What: Santa loves his furry friends and is happy to take photographs with dogs and cats this holiday season.  Pet photos with Santa will be hosted on Monday evenings from 4-8 PM. Each dog or cat visiting Santa Claus will receive a free treat.

Pet Night with Ruffledale

When: December 2nd, 9th, and 16th from 6:00-9:00 pm

Where: Layton Hills Mall

What: Bring your furry friends for photos with Santa during these special Monday evenings!  Pets must be on a leash or in a carrier, and pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Pets will not be allowed in any area of the mall other than the designated Santa photo area in Center Court. Thanks to community partner Ruffledale Pet Resort and Paw Spa for helping to make this happen!

Special Needs Day and Night with Santa

When: December 3, 2019 from 12:30-7:30 pm

What: On Tuesday, Dec. 3rd at 12:30 p.m., students from the Davis Early Intervention Program will have a chance to visit Santa and Mrs. Claus in a low-stress, quiet setting. Station Park has partnered with Utah Easy to Love to offer a night with Santa for children with special needs. The free event is set in a low-stress, quiet environment and is scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 3rd from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Each family can enjoy free ice skating and treats.

Breakfast with Santa

When: December 7, 2019 from 8:30-11:00 am

Where: Harmons at Station Park

What: Come eat breakfast with Santa at Harmons Saturday, December 7th from 8:30am – 11:00am. The Farmington Fire Department will serve their traditional pancake breakfast at Harmons. $5.00 per person with all proceeds going to the Visa Education Campus in Farmington. What: Ever wondered what Jolly Old St. Nick does to relax before his big day? He goes to the South Davis Recreation Center! Santa Cares Event

What: Layton Hills Mall is teaming up with Cherry Hill Programs and Autism Speaks to host Santa Cares, a sensory-friendly event for children and family members with all spectrums of special needs to enjoy the time-honored tradition of the Santa Photo Experience in a calming environment prior to public hours. Holiday Concerts

A Holly Jolly Christmas Concert

What: The Syracuse City Arts Council combined Christmas concert will be held on Monday, December 2nd at 7:00 PM in the Syracuse High School Auditorium. A concert with the orchestra, choir, and jazz band. This will be the perfect kick-off to your holiday season so bring the whole family! Admission is free.

2019 Christmas Concert: “Ring Those Christmas Bells”

Lightwood Duo

What: The Lightwood Duo has been delighting audiences in Utah as well as across the country since their founding in 1992.  Comprised of guitarist Mike Christiansen and clarinetist Eric Nelson, the Lightwood Duo has performed concerts from New York City to Honolulu. Sons of Serendip Concert

What: Sons of Serendip is a unique Billboard Charting quartet consisting of a harpist, cellist, pianist and lead vocalist.
