Fall has officially arrived in Davis County and we’re ready for all of the fun events that come with this beautiful season. From fall festivals and hay mazes to spooky skeletons and seasonal performances, celebrate with October 2020 events in Davis County the whole family will love!
Cherry Hill Scary Hill
What: Celebrate the Halloween season at Cherry Hill this October. Hundreds of skeletons await your visit on the tractor ride, and every hole on the mini golf course will be haunted in spooky Halloween fashion. Be sure to check out Jungle Maze attractions that are all decked out in festive themes.

Lagoon Frightmares

Black Island Farms
What: Get lost in the 16-acre corn maze, take a scenic car ride out to one of the pumpkin patches to pick your very own pumpkin. If you dare, enter Nightmare Acres, the haunted corn maze now featuring zombie apocalypse laser tag.

What: Fall farm fun! Explore the 14-acre corn maze and 12-acre pumpkin patch. Take a hayride, find your way out of the mini straw maze, play on the mega slides, mini wagon train, zip line, jump pads and more! Enjoy fall treats like apple cider donuts, fresh kettle corn and gourmet caramel apples, plus nightly fire pits and wide open spaces.

What: The Addams Family is a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family. And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before – keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family the fateful night they host a dinner for their daughter’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents. All seats $8.

What: Take a stroll through Layton Commons Park and hear the spooky tale of the Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde unfold as you stop at each station along the accessible path. This event is perfect for the whole family with an afternoon session from 2-5 p.m. for younger children and those who get spooked easily. If you are looking for more of a fun scare, the evening session from 7-9 p.m. is for you! This program is sponsored by Layton R.A.M.P. Tickets are free and will be available at tickets.davisarts.org.

October 12: Star Wars – Galactical Villains from a galaxy far, far away will drop by Station Park to say hello to families who are driving by to pick up a take-home craft.
October 19: Witches – Everybody’s favorite clowning sister witches will do some Hocus-Pocus for families as they drive by to pick up a free craft for the kids to make at home.
October 26: Disney Villains – An evil gaggle of wicked female animated movie villains from under the sea, Wonderland, an enchanted forest and London will leave their “tricks” behind to greet children and give them a special “treat” to take home and put together.
