Event Details

Every winter one of America’s most stunning birds of prey makes its way to Utah: the bald eagle. Join us during the Bald Eagle Experience for free, family-friendly activities, a close-up look at a live eagle, bald eagle crafts, presentations and — of course — bald eagle viewing!

When you’re ready to look for eagles in the wild, stop by the welcome desk in the Conservation Hall where a volunteer or staff member can answer your questions and provide information on recent sightings. They can also direct you to the viewing area within Farmington Bay Waterfowl Management Area where you can use provided spotting scopes to see eagles or other local wildlife. Biologists and Wasatch Audubon volunteers will be available to answer your questions.

Bald eagles are wild animals that go where they please, and their numbers vary depending on weather conditions. Spotting eagles in the wetland can be a great bonus to a day of fun!
