Bountiful Ice Ribbon
Love the feeling of the wind kissing your cheeks as you glide across the ice? Take the family for a spin around Bountiful’s brand new, outdoor 520-foot loop ice rink for an experience you won’t find anywhere else in Davis. Reservations are required, so make yours on southdavisrecreation.com, grab your skates or rent a pair, and hit the ice!
Where: Bountiful Town Square is located off the southwest corner of 100 South and 100 East, just east of Main Street.
Insider tip: Make a day (or evening) of it, and explore Bountiful Main Street’s cute shops and locally owned restaurants. Sure it’s cold outside, but don’t let that stop you from grabbing a fun drink from Fizz, located right near the rink, or a tasty treat at Blacksmith Ice Cream, famous with locals for their hand-churned, small batch ice cream!
South Davis Recreation Center
This indoor ice rink is open year-round and hosts skating competitions, hockey leagues, community events and Learn-To-Skate programs, as well as open skate times. Be sure to make a reservation for an hour-long session of freestyle figure skating.
Where: 550 N 200 W, Bountiful
Insider tip: After skating, fill up on award-winning Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches at Vito’s on Bountiful’s Main Street.
Station Park Ice Bumper Cars
Don’t have the moves on the ice? Show off your driving skills instead! Station Park’s Ice Bumper Cars replaced the regular seasonal ice skating rink at Fountain Square this year. It’s fun, different and definitely Utah unique. This new twist on fun is loved by both locals and visitors alike but hurry – this attraction is only open through January 31. Visit the Station Park website for hours and pricing.
Where: Fountain Square at Station Park, Farmington
Insider tip: Grab a treat from one of the yummy pavilions in Fountain Square, then cozy up in front of the fireplace. Craving a full meal? Check out one of the many eateries like Nino Viejo, Sicilia Mia, Twig’s, Santorini’s Greek Grill and Zao Asian Modern Cafe located right at Station Park. The possibilities are endless!
